We started the “Philosophy Workshops: The Right of Native Language“, which is the first of the five workshops that we will conduct within the scope of the “More Right in Tomorrow” project.
We would like to share with you with great joy that we, as the Children’s First Association, have started the “Philosophy Workshops: The Right of Native Language ” the first workshop of the “More Right in Tomorrow” project, which we carry out together with the “Human Rights Foundation of Turkey” (TİHV).
“Philosophy Workshops: The Right of Native Language”, which will be held in the Kurmanci dialect of Kurdish with a total of 45 children and 6 sessions, focuses on children’s ability to philosophize in their native language.
On the one hand, it aims to contribute to the importance of learning a native language, and on the other hand, to the critical and reflective thinking processes.
The workshops will be carried out with 3 different trainers who are competent in their field and with the pc4 technique.
The workshops aim to discuss the right to native language and the deprivations arising from this right and to make it a concept of the worlds of thought permanently.
We think that the “Philosophy Workshops: The Right of Native Language” workshop, where every 15 children will attend two different sessions and meet, discuss and think about the philosophical concepts in their native language, will open new doors with their creative thought processes and form the basis of different creative workshops.
