While the “Mobile Music School” works on the return of traditional musical instruments to the society by drawing attention to their cultural value, it brings together 14 children and young people in the surrounding villages of Diyarbakır with the traditional musical instruments of the region and focuses on musical instrument production and instrument training.
The “Mobile Music School”, which is opened to people with limited opportunities to receive music education, also contributes to the continuity of the cultural products of the region.
Project assistants Nevim Tiryaki, Adar Bozaner, Eda Tapancı and Serhat Nazlier, who regularly visit villages on the basis of providing one-on-one training, undertake the production of instruments to be provided to the project participants and follow up the trainings.
The project is carried out by Mend Atölye in cooperation with Ma Music Center and Children First Association.
