As the Children First Association, we are excited to announce that we have started the Journey to the World of Animation project, which is a European Union project and funded by the CultureCIVIC: Culture and Arts Support Program.
In this project, where we aim to develop children’s thinking, questioning, imagination, projecting and communication skills;
- Meeting in Children’s World with Character Creation and Drawing
- Scenario Writing
- Camera and Photo Shoots
- 2D Animation
- 3D Animation
We are implementing 5 different workshops in total with experts in their fields and children.
In support of the venue and equipment of the workshops to be held Kurdish with the participation of 15 children, we will partner with institutions that have been working in the field of children for years, such as Diyarbakır Industry School and Anima Production, ZarokMa and Anka Language and Art Education Cooperative.
As a result of the project, which will last for about a year, we will share the products created by children with the public at an event where non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, experts working in the field of animation and families will participate.
What do we purpose for with the Journey to the World of Animation project?
- Organizing creative workshops for disadvantaged children studying in public educational institutions.
- Supporting children’s imagination, projecting abilities and animation skills by enabling them to meet with the world of animation.
- Making model works for animation workshops that will contribute to the education of children and sharing them with related structures.
- To compile and share with the public the animations made by children and to raise awareness for different activities for children.
In line with these goals, we would like to thank everyone who contribute, especially the European Union and Culture CIVIC: Culture and Art Support Program.
Thank you for your cooperation!
